As you know, June is Black Music Month and what would Black Music Month be without Al Green. The man is a legend. Al Green just released a new album produced by Questlove called Lay it Down which you can find it on the Blue Note Label. It is an amazing record.
Well I thought it would be cool to give y’all something in honor of the Al Green. I just found this cool mashup album called “The Green Album” which was produced by Omer Saar. Here is the concept: Take the soulful sound of Al Green and mix in the acapellas or some great hip hop tracks. Check it out for yourself.
